Dane is enjoying his job as a school horse, and in his delightful way, he gives his riders just enough to keep them interested and at the same time, working their tails off!!!! He jumps like a time bomb for my more advanced riders and packs around my beginners. He is a horse that all of my students, if not enjoy, at least respect. What a dynamic jumper he was. Clearing every thing by at least a foot and galloping off looking for the next jump. Unfortunately Dane never learned how to get his second wind, so only evented to Intermediate level, but he enjoyed his time as a Show Jumper, making it to the 5 foot classes. I was not cut out for that discipline, but I did learn a tremendous amount during that time. Blessed are the school horses who are patient with their unknowledgeable riders.
